Tomahawks team up with Splinters Baseball Academay this summer to develop and “Improving Communities through Baseball” is the mission of Splinters Baseball Academy.

 

The methods and techniques Splinters Baseball teaches have been derived from our instructor’s experiences, as players and coaches, from little league level through the college level. Splinters Baseball also seeks out the best baseball minds from across the country to enhance and remain up to date on the techniques we teach

Having a summer internship/community hours is a great way to gain experience, enhance your resume and keep yourself busy and productive throughout the summer. Intern responsibilities will be catered to the specific abilities and strengths of the individual. Interns will not be paid and however the experience you will gain is priceless!

PWBL is Back for the 2012 Summer

 

 

The Pacific West Baseball League (PWBL) entering into its third year of operation has expanded 10 teams for the 2012 season.

The PWBL is committed to bringing a first class wooden bat baseball experience to every franchises local community. We exist to advance collegiate baseball prospects towards their futures of becoming a professional baseball player, while providing them the structure and guidance to return to their respective colleges. In addition it’s a goal of the league to present a wholesome, safe family oriented atmosphere for fans to enjoy high level competition by athletes who exhibit a positive role model for children in the community.

 

The PWBL brings highly competitive collegiate baseball to mid-sized communities throughout the West while featuring affordable family entertainment. The PWBL will have franchises in Alameda, Atwater, Auburn, Fresno, Lodi, Sacramento, Salinas, San Rafael, San Francisco and Carson City, Nevada. These franchises are the backbone of the Pacific West Baseball League and its foundation now and in the future. All teams affiliated with the PWBL showcase some of the top talent in the country. As a result, future Major League stars will grace the diamonds of the PWBL each season, bringing excitement to their team’s communities while entertaining baseball fans and families each summer. The PWBL will be formed of two divisions which each franchise playing a 31 game league schedule. There will be a seasoning ending championship series to crown the PWBL champion during the last week of July and first week of August.
